Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar, though not a herb or a spice, is nevertheless a very useful all natural ingredient when it comes to dealing with various health problems.  It is used in the treatment of acne, arthritis, diabetes, sore throats, sinus infections, and various allergies, just to name a few of it's uses.

It is also sometimes used for weight loss.  Many people swear that taking apple cider vinegar with water several times a day has helped them to lose weight quickly and easily.

In an old book I read some years ago written by an New England doctor, one of the remedies he swore by for curing arthritis was to take  a spoonful of apple cider mixed with honey and drink this before each meal.  I have personally known people who have tried this and swear that it works.

Adding the vinegar to your rinse water can make your hair bright, shiny and manageable.  And rinsing your face with warm water with a bit of apple cider vinegar added can help keep your skin free from breakouts.

Certainly, whether you try any of the solutions mentioned or just use it for cooking, you can't go wrong having a bottle of raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar in your cupboard.
